Thor is the son of Odin and Jord, the goddess of the land. Sif is also his wife. In Bilskirmir Palace, Thor lives with his mythical hammer, Mjolnir.
A magic belt called Megingjord and iron gloves called Jarngreipr are also part of his equipment. Thor travels through the sky in a cart powered by his two goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjostr.
He is also accompanied in his adventures by Thjalfi and Roskva, his loyal servants. The god Thor is associated with war power, bravery, and determination in northern mythology.

The palace of Odin, called Valaskjalf, remains his residence. This palace contains Hildskjalf, its throne that allows one to see into the nine worlds. The throne is guarded by Geri and Freki, two wolves. Additionally, Odin possesses two magic objects: Gungnir, his spear, and Draupnir, his ring. Through Sleipnir, his eight-legged horse, he moved forward.
Valhalla is also the home of Odin. In this area, you can find the souls of half of the soldiers who died in combat.
Loki is the son of Farbauti and Laufrey. His children include Narfi, Vali, Fenrir, Jormungand, Hel, and Sleipnir. In addition, he is a brother of Byleist and Helblindi.
Technically, Loki is not a god. He is a Jotnar, a giant. He lives in Asgard, the home of the Ases gods. As a result of his role in the original battle with the giants, he received a reward. During this crusade, Loki exiled the Jotnars to stand alongside the Ases.
Loki is not the god of evil in the true sense of the word. Simply put, it is imperfect. He is jealous, painful, opportunistic, deforestation, etc.
Freya is the daughter of Njord, the sea god, and Nerthus. In addition, she is Freyr's twin sister. Od is her husband and she has two children, Hnoss and Gersimi. Freya is one of the Vanes goddesses. However, she, her brother, and her father were exchanged after the Ases-Vanes war. As a result, Freya remains in Asgard.
Known as Valshamr, Freya has a falcon rain mantle that allows her to travel this way. She also has a char powered by blue and magic chats. Folkvangr is also home to Freya, who receives half the souls of the dead warriors. Odin's famous residence, Vanhalla, contains the other half.
Mostly and mainly, Freya is the fertility goddess. She has other attributes, but fertility is her primary function. Freya is the main goddess of fetility in the northern pantheon, but there are others as well.
Freyr is the son of Njord, the sea gods, and Nerthus. He is Freya's twin brother. His wife is Gerb, and his son is Yngvi. Formerly part of the Vanes clan, Freyr has become part of the Ases clan. As the sovereign of Alfheim, Freyr remains in elfish territory. Gullinburti, his wild boar, or Skioblaonir, his magic boat, are the means of transportation he uses
Freyr is the second god of fertility and agriculture, if you will. Fraya, his twin sister, is the main divinity in this area. Freyr, however, is particularly interested in farming. The Vikings saw it more as a symbol of peace and serenity.
Tyr is depicted as the god of light through a metaphorical representation. Tyr is the god of light, which is perceived as justice and truth. Tyr represents the authority that enforces order.
Archaeological evidence indicates that Tyr was much more prevalent in northern religious belief in the early viking age (7th century). To Tyre's detriment, Odin has become increasingly important and central.
FRIGG is Odin's wife and mother of Baldr, Hod, and Hermod. She is not Thor's mother.
She doesn't stay at Odin's house. Fensalir palace remained her home. In the clearest part of her days, she threw the clouds in the direction of the future, where she saw it. Additionally, Frigg employs Gna, Grefjon, Hlin, Vra, Snotra, Sygna, Lofn and Fulla.
Frigg is a goddess of love and marriage. It was believed that Frigg was a faithful wife of Odin. In a way, she is responsible for the stability of the world order. As a mother, she protects and admires her children. As the protector of women, she plays an important role in norse mythology.
BALDER is the son of Odin and Frigg. He is the brother of Hod, Hermod, as well as the half-brother of Thor, Bragi, Vidar, Valie, and many others. He is married to Nanna and has a son named Forseti.
An attractive, strong, charismatic man, Baldr is perfect. The prodigy son of Odin and Frigg. He is the charming prince who is admired by all the gods. It's no surprise he's the god of youth, beauty, and light. However, Balder is mostly remembered for his death.
There is no doubt that Baldr's death is one of the most important myths of all time. Ultimately, Balder's death will lead to Ragnarok, the end of the world, which is the central event of the story.
Njord is Freya's and Freyr's father. Following the war between the Vanes and Ases, he was exchanged as one of the Vanes divinities. This is a vane divinity, but it is allied with the Ases.
Njord protects fishermen and their good fortune. He is not regarded as a warrior. Like his son, who is the farmer's protector. Although they are passive divinities, no one questions their power
There is no doubt that Njord is comparable to Aegir. The storms associated with Aegir anger aren't associated with Njord. Storms are associated with Aegir, a giant. Njord is the protector.
Hod is the son of Odin and Frigg. His brothers are Baldr and Hermod. Thor is one of several half-brothers he has as well.Hod is more of a story than a god leased and venerated by northern men. It is the one Loki has trick to kill Balder.
HEIMDALL is the adopted son of Odin. However, he has nine mothers. Her mothers' identities remain a mystery. It has been argued by some that they are Aegir girls, and others that they refer to the nine cosmic worlds.
Heimdall remains at the door of Asgard in his home Himinbjorg. He keeps the rainbow bridge that connects Asgard, the kingdom of gods, with Migard, the kingdom of men. In addition to his Gjallarhorn, Heimdall also possesses a Djällarhorn that will warn Asgard once Ragnarok arrives.
In his role as a watchdog, role d'Heimdall may not have much adventure to offer. Until the end of time, Heimdall remains in his position without sleeping.
AEGIR is the son of Fornjot and the brother of Eld (fire) and Kari (wind). His wife Ran had nine daughters. Those are the waves of the sea. The names Himinglaefa, Dufa, Blodudhadda, Hefring, Unn, Hronn, Bylgja, Drofga all refer to a type of wave in Norse.
Even though Aegri is a giant (Jotnar), he has a good relationship with Asgard's gods. As much as it is perceived as the host of gods. There are several sagas that describe evenings in Aegir's house when the gods meet around delicious beer. As a matter of fact, Aegir is not an active figure in Viking mythology. While residing on Hlesey Island, he is the host of the heroric gods.
Additionally, Aegir is the one who brings the storms with these nine girls.
HEL is the daughter of Loki and Angrboda, the ice giant. A queen of the underground realms, Hel is the goddess of the underworld. It is here that the souls of people who die naturally go.
There is something unique about the appearance of Hel. On one half of its face, it is dark blue, while on the other, it has the color of its skin.
Older versions of the northern myths probably only refer to Hel as a place, and later she became a person.
